An AI agent is an assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude that can take actions for someone, not just answer questions. When a guest asks it to find and book a place, it needs a website it can read and talk to reliably. Every Posadita booking site on Pro gives agents a structured way to:

Do I pay commission on bookings made by AI agents?
No. They are direct bookings on your own site, so Posadita charges 0% commission.
Do I need to set anything up?
No. Publish your booking site on Pro with your prices set, and agents can use it.
Can an AI agent cause a double booking?
No. An agent never holds dates. Your calendar syncs with Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and Holidu, and the dates are checked again when the guest books, so a stay another channel has taken cannot be booked.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to tools and data. Posadita booking sites answer it at posadita.com/mcp, with no sign-in – the same calls as the API, and a checkout still reserves nothing.
Who takes the payment?
You do. When the guest pays online, the money goes through your own Stripe account straight into your balance – Posadita takes no cut.
